HELLO TUMBLR have some class doodles and watercolor
messing around with some new art supplies :D
why do I have to create a concept that is 100% out from my comfort zone. I dont quite understand these tones and whatnosky :v
but anyway, these are environmental concept for my personal project.
everything are not yet fix. you may guess the post-apocalyptic theme, but later I will add a prehistoric environment into it. as the natural selection happens our ecosystem are degrading itself back to prehistoric form :)
This is cover which I did for A.E. Marling's newest novel called Dream Storm Sea (you can purchase Kindle edition here). I’m honoured that I got a chance to illustrate cover for him. And I had total fun to draw it. I really wanted to draw something different and theme of his book was perfect. I did it in Photoshop and I had 317 layers. I drew it 16.5 hours. More info you can find on link above. Enjoy.
I think this was a decent year and I’ve started to really push towards what I want my art to become, but in 2014 I’m looking to try more varied compositions, color palettes, poses, and facial expressions. I want to expand my visual vocabulary to avoid growing stale.
Here’s to a productive new year!
